These past two weeks have been filled with initiate-brother bonding, and our first official events for the semester.
Bid Day
We kicked our week off with a very important question. Will you accept this rose? Our PNMs were offers Bachelorette style bids and we celebrated with pizza after. Everyone was excited to welcome the new PNMs and eagerly awaited their decisions.
Pinning
We welcomed new initates! Including Olivia Son, Christine Johnson, Jackie Rowland, Faizah Kabir, Elena Harvey, Amanda Gilliam, Haley Bachl, and Meghan Stubbs.
We are so excited to have them and cannot wait to see their progress through the initiate program!
Campus Games
Our brothers had some fun playing manhunt around campus. As the event came to an end it was difficult to call it quits without thinking tricks were being played. Pure fun and smiles all around.
Bowling
Initiates and Brothers got to know each other over discounted bowling night! We SPLIT into two lanes, one with bumpers and one without. Jenny killed it with no bumpers, and soon after I learned she was on a serious bowling team while living in Germany! While some of us threw more gutter balls that we would have wanted we still had a lot of fun.
Feel Good Friday
Our first PR event of the semester! We asked VCU students to sign a banner with something good that happened to them this week or something they are thankful for so Rams could end their Friday on a positive note. A lot of people had a good week from doing well on tests, seeing cute dogs, and spending time with their friends. Others wrote they were thankful for friends, family, and the beautiful weather we have had. My personal favorite: "I got a double text back." We had a great time meeting so many new faces! Again thank you to everyone who came out!

This week Thora has been working hard on improving out bylaws and helping this fraternity run smoothly. She has been a true representation of the leadership leg of the tripod! Thank you for pushing this organization to be the best it can be!
