Wow! These last three weeks have been busy! Our chapter held twelve recruitment events and met so many new faces at VCU. Catch up on what PSP did to kick off the school year!
Tabling
School was not officially in session but PSP was ready on Monday August 19th. Members were on the compass meeting new VCU students and teaching them about our wonderful organization. We also tabled on Wednesday, Friday and the following Tuesday so we could meet as many new faces as possible!

Letters Lunch
Some of our members and the potential new members met for lunch in the Commons near Taco Bell. Nothing like bonding over food!
Service Night
Our members handed out some Hershey kisses on Friday night to congratulate VCU students on completing their first week of school, which is no small feat. After a summer of relaxing or working, it's hard to get back in the swing of things!
Field Day
On Saturday some of our members worked up a sweat playing volleyball and soccer. Although by the end of the day our forearms were red and we may have managed to hit the ceiling with the volleyball, we were already planning our Olympic debut. Tokyo 2020 here we come!!

Mocktails
Potential new members had the chance to talk to our members one on one, or two on one. We got to know the basics (name, major and year) and venture into some not so typical conversations like do you believe in...ghosts!? The speed dating style event was a success, and we loved getting to know PNMs.
Art Night
Friday night was the time to express ourselves! Our PNMs and members painted their hearts out and the results were impressive. We had fun getting paint all over our hands and relaxing after a long week of school.

Scavenger Hunt
Our last event of fall 2019 recruitment was a scavenger hunt around campus. Everyone was divided into teams and had a list of photos to take. For example: take a picture of your team playing leap frog at the Siegel center. Everyone had loads of fun, and it was a great way to end recruitment.
Siggy Spotlight
Time to honor the members who went above and beyond these past few weeks for recruitment!
Rachel Rairigh
For planning such an awesome recruitment. We are so proud of your innovative events, and had fun getting to know new potential members in a new way!
Erin Wolstenholme
Erin attended every tabling event and she was a consistent presence at recruitment events. She brought solid energy and reached out to PNMs to make them feel welcome. She is honestly a recruitment rockstar!
